Our weather is exceptional, in that we are generally 5-10 degrees cooler, with less humidity, than our friends in South Florida. We enjoy a "change of seasons," with somewhat cooler temps from November to February… "70-ish" days and "50-ish" nights. Another benefit is that tropical storms lose their "oomph" here, because the Gulf Stream Current is so far off shore. That's why you see storms either hit south of here or get bumped up to Cape Hatteras and the Carolinas!
We have the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful Intra Coastal Waterway, as well as a tapestry of salt water canals - all lending to the Waterfront Living and Boating Lifestyles. Live in the exclusive Gated Communities of Hammock Dunes, Ocean Hammock, Hammock Beach, Cinnamon Beach, Island Estates, Yacht Harbor Village, and Grand Haven.
Here you can enjoy the best Golf on the planet! Courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Tom Fazio, and Rees Jones beckon. The Nicklaus course at Ocean Hammock has been nicknamed "The Pebble Beach of the East."
